I was not scared. I said the scream was me. I had had a nightmare. I also said the old man had left the country. I led the three men around the house, and once we finished, we plopped back down into our seats. |
| See! Nothing's wrong in this house. | |
| Oh, okay. I guess we can just stay for a little and have a conversation. | |

I began to become pale. I got a headache and my ears began to ring. They wouldn't stop talking, so I tried to clear my mind by talking a bit more clearly. |
| The man was one of my good friends. I haven't heard from him in months though.... | |
| Oh, really? That's very interesting. | |
I soon realized the ringing was not internal. I became very pale. The sound grew louder and it began to sound like a faint heart beating. A FAINT HEART BEATING! |
| Uhhh... So do you guys have any friends out of the country? | |
| No. I don't. Keep telling about the old inhabitant of this house, though. It thoroughly interests me. | |
