To hide the body, I hid it underneath the floorboards of the room. There was no blood anywhere to clean. I put the bead back in the right way.
*creeeeeeak* *thud*
Yes! Oh, yes! The eye is gone!
There was a doorbell ring, so I turned opened my lantern to brighten up the room.
Oh! I'd better get the door!
There were three men at the door. They said they were police officers with endless amounts of calmness and clarity. I brought them upstairs to the old man's room and set up chairs but cleverly put my chair above the body.
So, hello. Why are you here?
We got a report from a neighbor that there was a yell from inside the house. We believe thre may have been a murder. We must search the area.
