How to form Covalent Bonds by Laheera on 10-16-2014
Do you know how to form covalent bonds?
I wish i did but I ahve been using your classroom as a dining room.
Wow! You don't remember anything? Think hard.
Um.... You form covalent bonds when two atoms sgare a pair of valence electrons. Attractions between the shared electrons and the protons in each nucleus hold the atoms together in a covalent bond.
That is correct. When naming covalent bonds the second atom has suffixes in the beginning, what are these suffixes?
These suffixes are mono, di, tri, tetra, penta, hexta, hepta, octa, nona, and deca.
