Hamlet by Beauty on 05-07-2009
King Claudius gives Laertes two reasons why he choose's not to kill Hamlet himself.
But King Claudius why is it that you wish for me to kill Hamlet and not yourself?
I have two reasons why; one is that i love his mother very much and i would not want to ruin her. Two, the people love Hamlet, even in his worst hour, they still would love him. If i went against these two reasons i would surely be punished by the Gods.
The Queen tells Laertes and King Claudius that Ophelia has drowned herself due to her fathers death.
King! King! O Great King and strong Laertes, Ophelia has drowned herself!
Too much of water hast thou, poor Ophelia, and therefore i forbid my tears; but yet it is our trick; nature her custom holds, let shame say what it will. Adieu my lady and lord.
The two clowns bury Ophelia's body in the Christian Burial.
Is this one supose to be buried in the Christian burial?
I believe so.It was believed that she commited suicide and is to have her body lie straight.
