G1 stands for Gap1. In G1 the cell duplicates all of its chromosomes. This forms sister chromatids.
And Synthesis?
That's Easy that's where the cell checks to make sure that the cell dplicated all the chromosomes.
Then G2? Does that stand for Gap2?
Yes. Gap 2 where the cell duplicates its DNA.
