Cell Cycle Part I by sprytequeen on 04-06-2009
We enter as a news reporter interviews scientist Gary J. Gorbsky.
Mr. Gorbsky you were discovered for your famous break through with cell division. That's part of the cell cycle right?
Yes cell division occurs during the cell cycle.
How would you explain in simplest terms the cell cycle?
I would go back to middle schol and say it like this; the cell cycle consists of three main parts: Interphase, Mitosis, and Cytokinesis.
What's Interphase?
Interphase is the first part of the cell cycle. It consists of G1, Synthesis, and G2.
