Here we are at the new rocket launch for the first manned mission to Mars! |
| So can you explain to me how the cell cycle works? | |
| Me-owwwww! | |
Woah! what happened to the rocket, whatever, on to someone more intellegent! |
| So, how does it work? | |
| Well it includes 3 phases, Interphase (Gap 1 or Synthesis or S, and Gap 2 or G2) Mitosis which i will get into later, and Cytokenisis. | |
Hmmm... why do they keep changeing? |
| What occurs in Interphase? | |
| Well, in G1 the cell duplicates or copies the orgenelles in the cell, in Synthesis the cell copies the DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) which are the schematics for the cell, and in G2 the cell makes sure everything is remade correctly! | |
