The narrator meets a potential flatmate in London through a mutual friend, the two meet in the chemical lab of St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. The flatmate is a strange man who surprises the narrator by figuring out that the narrator is a soldier recently returned from Afghanistan. The narrator then warns the man. |
