The internet is becoming more and more powerful every day because we allow it to. Perhaps it is because we rely on internet so much today. Are we relying too heavily upon it? | I believe Mr. Carr brings up a great question that we must ask ourselves. Are we letting the internet become too powerful? If so, will this have serious consequences in the future? It is not an easy question to answer but it is important we stay aware of it. | |

| Miss Cadwalladr’s work may not be about the exact same topic as mine, but they can certainly run hand-in-hand. Many people use the internet to obtain information and if much of the information they consume is fake or biased due to it being an especially controversial topic, they have a significant chance of believing it. If they believe it, they may become judgmental and discriminatory of others. This is just another example of the way the internet can be too powerful. | |

As Nicholas has stated, your ideas run hand-in-hand and search engines providing fake and biased information is one of the many examples why the internet may have too much power.
