 | Man that Mexican lunch special was delicious. Best mexican food in the city. | |
 | Well, I wouldn't say its really "authentic" Mexican food. Its more of a localized variant of the real stuff. | |

 | What do you mean? We live in a border town so I would think that the food here would be considered authentic. | |
 | Not necessarily. The Native people of Mexico's cusine mainly focused on plants like corn beans and squash. When the Spanish arrived their cusines mized and eventually created the unique Mexican cusine. Even now areas have different specialties like New Mexico with the chilis. | |

 | You do have a point. Since I don't travel much I assume this is the real deal. Now I need to try Mexican food from different places. Thanks! | |
 | No problem, I know of some great places to try out that will definitely blow your mind! | |
