Avoid Conflict by khaecker1028 on 06-24-2018
Two co-workers who work in different departments, but to accomplish the same goal are meeting up for drinks at an office party.
Why don't you ever answer when I call you? I always have to relay messages through your assisstant. It upsets me and I think it creates more possibility for mistakes.
I don't think it's that big of a deal. I also don't like the way you speak to me. I feel like you talk to me like I'm a subordinate and not on an equal level.
After a few minutes of back and forth they start a light argument.
I think it's disrespectful of you not to answer my calls personally.
I would like an apology or I think it would be best for us to continue on the way we've been communicating.
They finally agree to just continue how they've been going. They agree to avoid each other and any future conflict.
Well, I guess we will just have to be careful to make sure that our messages are relayed properly.
I guess so then.
