How are Supreme Court Justices nominated
1. The Constitution has only two requirements for Supreme Court justices: the person must be nominated by the president and receive the consent of the Senate. White House and Senate staff members conduct extensive research about the personal and judicial backgrounds of multiple candidates.
2. Right, and once the president has chosen a candidate, he or she will be introduced to the public and announced as the nominee. Presidents typically want to nominate someone with extraordinary personal integrity and professional expertise. Also, a nominee's temperament is crtical in deciding whether or not he is favorable to be a supreme court justice.
How the other two branches of government can check the Supreme Court.
3. In order to be a confirmed Supreme Court justice, the Senate must confirm the president's nomination. That's how the Legilstaive branch checks the Judicial branch.
4. And the Executive branch chooses the nominee for the Supreme Court providing another check .

5. The Legislative branch can also impeach the Supreme Court justices if they don't do their job well.
6. The Executive branch also does an extensive background check on the Supreme Court nominees.
