An interview about Sarah's future goals, between Sarah (left) and her guidance Counselor (right |
| Hi Sarah, tell me about what you want to do when you're older and what you are doing now to achieve that. | |
| I want to be a registered nurse when I'm older. Currently I am volunteering at Riverside hospital to learn about how a hospital works and where everything is located, this will help if I do end up working in a hospital | |

The guidance gives a good point as As the Unit 2 health book states, " we want to do what we love by focusing on things that mean a lot to us with people we want to be around" |
| Do you enjoy this? It is important that your goal makes you happy. | |
| I love doing this! I get to work some awesome volunteers while greeting the family of the patients and I get to momentarily connect with the families and hopefully make an impact on their day. This feeling it gives me is something like the Unit 2 Helath book states on page 12, the, "happiness involves actions that seem to make time stand still." | |

Another point is made by the Guidance Counselor when he ppoints out sooething from the Unit 2 Health book on page 13 that, "Goals should be seen more as the critical steps we take on the path to our dreams." |
| What is in your plan for the future to continue to approach your goal? | |
| In my senior year I hope to do careeer mentorshi so that I can shadow some Nurses at Ohiohealth and try to figure out what kind of a nurse I want to be. I also will continue to make grades a priority so that I can get into a good nursing college. | |
