| Good morning Scarlet. I am being moved to a classroom with a computer in front over every student. The principal suggest I use more technology to enhance learning. I am not very good with this cyber safety stuff. Mind helping me out?? | |
| Ahhh I see Chad. How interesting that you were moved as we are discussing cyber safety. Okay I will help. | |

| First of, make sure you explain to your students the importance of using secure passwords. They should mix up letters and numbers and the capitalization of their passwords to make sure they are not easy to guess. | |
| That is a really good idea Scarlet. Other people should not be able to get onto our computers and gain information. Creating personal passwords with different elements in it should prevent someone hacking onto a device or site. | |

| That's right Chad. You should also tell your students to not give optional information online. On valid, proper sites only basic information is needed. If a site is asking for other things that are "optional" they may want to stay away from that site. | |
| That is also a good idea. Why put in uneeded information. What about social media? How should students handle who they interact with on there? | |
