This is the meeting of two delegates. One is from New Hampshire and the other is from the federal government. The New Hampshire delegate is here to get his state constitution approved.
I am a delegate from New Hampshire. This is our state constitution. It includes one legislature which is split into two houses. We also have a govenor who is elected by the citizens. We also have courts and judges.
Thank you. I will bring it to the courts to get it approved immediately.
During the war with England for independence, the Continental Congress got together to create the Second Continental Congress.and they ended up creating the Articles of Confederation. This document enabled the government to house an army and to create laws.

Shortly after the government was established, they created an ordinance called the Ordinance of 1785. This set up a plan for surveying or measuring the western lands. This also described how they would divide and sell the land.Each town was divided into 36 one mile square sections.
