Facebook and Twitter by johnnyRo9 on 09-09-2013
Yesterday Ted posted some extremely personal information about himself on Facebook and Twitter. his credit card company called and asked him if he spent $2,000 at Home Depot and if he spent $200 at Dick's Sporting Goods. Ted replied. " I haven't used my credit card all day. The bank also called and told him that he hade taken $4,000 out of his account. Ted told the bank. " The last time I took money out of my account was 2 weeks ago.
What type of information did he share and who could read the information that he posted.
He posted his credit card number and his bank account password. His account is public so anyone could see what he posted.
What do you think he could have done to prevent this from happening.
The first thing he should do is change his Facebook account and Twitter account from public to private. the reason he should do this is because he will know the people that are now following him. You should also never post personal information about your self such as your address, credit card number, any ype of password, phone number and, the address of your work place. If you question whether its safe or not to post something, dont post it.
