 | Hello there, I am emperor Liu Bang. I was born in 248 BC as a peasant. I worked as a police officer during the Qin dynasty. I opposed Hsiang Yu and his plans, as a rebel leader. I fought until Hsiang Yu commited suicide. | |

Discussing Politics & Religion |
 | I was first a king from 206 BC to 202 BC, and revived feudalism in China. During that time, I also replaced the original vessels with my own relatives. However, I was emperor from 202 BC to 195 BC. During my reign as emperor, I made laws less harsh and reduced peasants taxes. I used my skills in diplomacy to make peace with many enemies. | |
 | I see youve done some great things, but my family secured my position as heir to the throne when I was only seven! I was not even the oldest son of the emperor. I began my rule in 141 BC. Most of the time, I ruled under the influence of my family and political officials. In the 130s BC I decided that China needed to be more aggressive, if we wanted to expand our empire. During my reign, I gained control of Southern China, Furgana, and most of Vietnam and Korea. Despite how agressive I was, I am very interested in Confucianism. I even founded universities to teach confucian ideas, and I do appreciate Confucius's writings and use of ritual in religion. | |

Arguing Who Was More Successful |
 | Clearly, I was more successful. I made peace with many enemies, and led a rebellion. In fact, I fought so hard, that in the end, my enemy gave up and committed suicide. Just think, I went from peasant to emperor by earning it. I was never born into the royal family. | |
 | You make great points, however, you argument is invalid. My destiny was decided for me. They knew I would make a better ruler then the oldest of my brothers. I focused a lot on expanding the empire and making Confucianism a more commonly practiced religion. I made Confucianism the state religion of China. I may be remembered as a harsh and cruel leader, but at least I did many practical things, like making the empire larger. | |
