COMIC STRIP PSYCHOLOGY
Comic strips aren't used strictly for humor as we've all seen in political cartoons. So...don't say a comic strip is bad just because it doesn't make you laugh. Sometimes, they're inside jokes.
Sometimes its easier to use a puppet or cartoon strip to convey a message to a person or group of people. It is not quite as threatening and the recipient is less likely to take it in an insulting manner.
