What is a cell, its parts and its functions?
Did you know that the parts of a cell include Cell Wall, Cell Membrande, Nucleus, Mitochondria, Endoplasmic Reticulum, Ribosome, Golgi Apparatus, Chloroplast, Vacuole, Lysosome, and Cytoskeleton.
Well what are its functions?
a Cell Walls function is to protect the cell, Cell Membrane acts as a barrier, a Nucleus stores DNA, Mitochondria specializes in making ATP, Endoplasmic Reticulum is basically like a highway, and Ribosome makes proteins for the cell.
What about the Golgi Apparatus, Chloroplast, Vacuole, Lysosome, and cytoskeleton?
The Golgi Apparatus is like a post office which packasges and distributes, Chloroplast take energy and converts it into food, Vacuole stores food, Lysosome basically destroy invaders, and Cytoskeleton maintain the protein's shape and size.
