| Hey, can I study with you about Irony? I need help remembering everything. I know theres three types of them, situational, dramatic, and verbal. | |
| Sure, and yeah. Situational is when the opposet of what you expect actually happens. An example could be rain on your wedding day or a traffic jam when your already late. | |
| Isn't dramatic when the audience knows more about any given situation than the characters do? | |
| Yeah, an example could be that someone could possibly be texting while driving and the audience see's the red light and the person texting doesnt. Now verbal is a figure of speech, like sarcasm. | |
| Ohhh I see. So an example for verbal could be "I just love how you come in here, dirty my room then leave every day for me to clean it up." | |
| Yeah, exactly. See you know what you're talking about. | |
