Conversations with a Music Freak by kathbael on 05-25-2006
Kathleen the Music Freak in Japan for one interview: Conversations with a Music Freak
What is it in the songs and/or music that you like?
Usually I dig and I like something that’s got meaningful lyrics..one that I can actually and closely relate to..and something positive and inspirational..like the gospel type..I like the contemporary Christian Music..like the styles of Stacie Orrico, Rachel Lampa..stuff like that..any music, song, word(s), lyric(s) that touches this level..I’m definitely for it as long as I can relate that to myself..my life…and everything about me..in me..or basically just any song/music that’s got a nice, cool, fun beat and vibe to it…

What has music done to you?
“MUSIC’ has actually helped me a lot..i must say that it helped me realized a lot of the things…it opened my eyes and my mind to a lot of the things..from the words and lyrics of the songs that I listen to..I pick it up and used it to myself..in my life…a lot of the good things I hear out from music..it just sticks in my mind..and I try to live and think by it..it has actually somehow shaped me in the last 11 years that I was into music..i mean like just listening to it..so it’s good…
and finally down to the final question..
Music is…
“THE GAME” for me and “THE LIFE” to anything and everything I do..like I can’t totally work or move properly at least without any music on..when I’m doing the chores..when I’m at home..it’s a good and better habit/option compared to drugs..alcohols..and any other bad vices for that matter..
