Against Carnegie by alliecomics on 10-18-2012
Hey Harry! What's up?
Hey Jake. I wanted to invite you to a concert. It's a Beethoven tribute at Carnegie Hall.
Oh NOO! Absolutely not. I will never see a show at Carnegie Hall. EVER!
Uhh...okay. why not? It's a great hall.
Because Andrew Carnegie was a robber baron! A villain of his time. He himself was a self made man who knew what it meant to work hard. Yet when he makes it big becoming one of the richest men in the world, he forgets what it feels like to be working class. He was a ruthless man who would do whatever he could to make more money. He treated his workers terribly paying them low wages despite the fact he had the means to pay them well. I believe he was selfish & didn't care if others struggled because he struggled in his past but made it to the top.
