| How does the government decide how much money goes where? Well, this is where the Federal budget comes into play. | |

First, the budget is drawn up by President with adivsory from a council. It must be 2/3 mandatory (doesnt need approval annually), and discretionary (needs annual approval). |

It is then sent to Congress, who can modify, approve , or disapprove the budget. If it is approved, the budget targets are set, then sent to House subcommittees for approval, breaking it into seprate parts. |
