Miss Andre, Can you tell us about your first meeting with Mr. Faulkner?
I was a stenographer in his office. And I saw him for the first day of my job.

Why did Mr.Foulkner propose to Miss Whitfield?
She had proposed to him! She promised to extend of loan and save his buisiness if he would marry her.
COURTROOM
Did you resent that marriage?
No, I looked at this as our hardest campaign.
