The Storming of The Bastille, July 14, 1789 by AlexanderH on 01-15-2010
It was the morning of July 14, 1789. Two members of the National Assembly, met at the Indoor Tennis Court.
Well I believe that we shoud attck the Bastille and tear down its walls.
Yes. I agree with you. And according to my records here, we could get all of the members to come with too.
All members of the National Assembly gathered outside of the Bastille's Walls on May 14, 1789. At around dinner time they attacked the Bastille, and threw down its walls.
All right men! Are you ready to break down these walls, and show the King what We can really do!?
Yes we are!! Lets do this, let us tear down the walls of the Bastille!
The National Assembly met back at their Tennis Court, the next morning. There was a lot of debating as to weather or not this was the democratic thing to do.
Well i believe that it was very democratic. We voted on what to do, and it was for the best.
Yes, i see what you mean. But then it wasn't very democratic to destroy the Bastille.
