Legislative
Jodi, the Legislative Branch can check on the Executive Branch: override President's veto, confirms executive appointments, ratifies treaties, can declare war, appropriates money, and can impeach and remove Presidents.
Yeah Julie, and when they check on the Judicial Branch it: creates lower federal courts, can impeach or remove judges, can propose amendments to overrule judicial decisions, and approves appoinments of federal judges.
Executive
Sundrop. . . When the Executive Branch checks on the Legislative Branch it: can approve laws, can veto laws, can call special sessions of Congress, make appointments, and negotiates foreign treaties.
Kitty. . . When the Executive Banch checks on the Judicial Branch it: appoint federal judges, and can grant pardons to federal offenders.
Judcial
Ben . . . When the Judicial Branch checks on the Executive Branch it: can declare executive actions unconstitutional.
Jacob. . .Ooooo. I love it! When the Judicial Branch checks on the Legislative Branch it: can declare acts of Congress unconstitutional.
