Dana. . . I had a blast with you last weekend, but that is not why I am here. I am here to tell you about checks and balances in the U.S. The President can check the actions of congress buy vetoing, which means rejecting, bill that congress has passed.
Wow Lester. . .your very intelligent. Maybe that why they call you brain but that is not the point. Checks and balances also the congress can check on the President by overriding, or overruling, the veto. You can go and tell Austin because I no he does not no this information. Bye
Austin, I know you're here to become smarter but I am going to tell you that checks and balances in the U.S. Congress must approve presidential appointments and ratify treaties made by the President.
Thank you Lester for telling me that. I also have interesting stuff to tell you about it. The congress's most extreme check on the President is its power to remove the President from office.
