Completing the square 3 by banks3 on 03-06-2009
Ms. Teacher shows Al how to complete the square
If you have x^2-8x+36. You do (-8/2)^2=16.Then plug it in to get x^2-8x+16=-36+16.Then you do (x-4)^2=-20. x-4=± √-20. Then you simplify by doing x=4+2i√5
Ms. Teacher, you clearly don't know what you're talking about. If yu have 3 sides to a square and you want to complete it, you simply add a fourth side to the incomplete square. You're making this harder than it really is.
Ms. Teacher gives up
Ahh I give up!!
