Cell Cycle:In simple terms (even for smarty pants) by nananeko on 02-12-2009
Ha-ha! The next phase is Telophase. The chromatids are now at the poles and the spindle fibers disappear. They uncoil into chromatin again. The nucleus and the nuclear membrane form again.
Is the cytokinesis phase next?
Yes. During the cytokinesis, the cytoplasm divides. Now the cells divide differently between animal and plant cells.
Animal cells pinch in until you have to identical replicated cells. Plant cells form cell plates in the center. Once the whole process is done, you have two cells called daughter cells.
Wow! Thanks for helping me. I understand everything.
