Mathematics Final Exam
Class, your final has 100 multiple-choice questions with answer blanks, but no partial credit. If you give me an exam with no wrong answers in the blanks, your course grade will be a guaranteed A.
Two minutes after the test has begun...
Sir, except for your full name on the exam, you have left it entirely blank!
Sorry, professor, I have to take this call! I'll leave now and catch up with you later. Bye.
A conference with a colleague...
So, how did you resolve the final exam and the course grade of the young man who left after only two minutes?
Heh. Heh. He followed instructions; he DID turn in an exam that had no wrong answers in all 100 answer blanks. I can't go back on my word. He got his A. Next time I'll be more careful in what I say!
