Linear Programming 2 by Nidalito on 10-22-2008
Inside the college...
A factory produces batman figurines. The factory produces 2 different figurines using 2 different machines. The first figurine requires 50 minutes on the first machine to be produced, and 30 minutes on the second machine. As for the second figurine, it uses 24 minutes on the first machine and 33 minutes on the second machine. The factory needs at least 75 of the first type of figurines and 95 of the second. The first machine works for 40 hours and the second machine works for 35 hours.
This is the easiest problem I have seen in my career!
So what is the demand?
Well, we need to maximize the production in order to for the factory to meet or exceed the production of the figurines.
Hmm.. this seems easy, but i have to go so I'm going to call Andy for you and he will help you out.
Oh okay thanks.
