| Rising sea levels, leading to more coastal erosion, flooding during storms, and permanent inundation. My fellow FIlipinos these calamities,though natural, is because of the greed and lack of concern of most of us. This is because of the rampant deforestation and land conversion. We should not wait for anybody else to do something before we act. | |

| We really have many laws which concern the preservation and conservation of our resources. The proble is that we don't strictly implement such laws. We don't involve the people in programs that could increase their environmental concern. We also do not make monitary measures. Hence, these laws though many are of no use without real action. | |
