| I was in PA at a Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA for short) event. The SCA is a grooup of history buffs who get together and study and recreate historical events. |

| But mostly we hit each other with swords and drink beer afterward | |

| The event I was at was called Pennsic and it was one of the biggest events in the SCA. Sometimes more than 10,000 people would gather and recreate large scale battles. We would also build castles to lay siege to and towns to defend The event lasts two weeks. It is like a ren-fair, only we think were better. |
