I have hearkened to the Word of the Lord.
I believe it should be said as 'Words of the Lord'.
Why?
It's grammatically correct... 'Word' is singular, not plural, and God most often uses complete sentences.
Right.
Also, we are monotheistic, not monosyllabic... you, of course, being the exception to the rule.
