| After every thought, dream, and preparation, the day has come. Yes, thats right, daddy says "were going to ride the horses darlin'". Never did she think the day could ever be so possible, so simple as the the few words daddy just spoke. Yes once again, daddy has made her dreams come true. Thank you daddy. | |

| She is more ready than she'll ever be for anything in her life. Red fringed leather chaps: check, all the passion and gut-wrenching excitement one girl could have for such an experience: oh yes..check. The ride is long. As if its to the ends of the earth. They pit-stop every 10 minutes so she can vomit from the nervousness and anger that daddy is not driving fast enough. When she arrives, she departs gets out the car and steps onto a meadow. It's as though she's stepping into her mural. Then she sees him. The horse of her dreams. He sees her, he calls to her, she goes to him. She saddles up and hops on, like she's a natural, born for this sort of stuff, born to ride. She smiles ear to ear and....she rides. She rides slow and is trying to fully embrace what is actually happening to her. She gives the horse a nudge with her heels and he knows.....faster. As they pick up more speed the wind blows strong through her long beautiful blonde hair, that for the first time she has let down, through fringe on her red leather chaps, and through her soul. She can hardly deal with the excitement and freedom she is feeling, finally. There are no words, and so she smiles and just laughs hysterically, her eyes welled with tears of impossible joy. They go faster....she can see it...she sees the place where they will forever run free together and she will never look back, never look back on that ugly world. They're almost there..... something goes terribly wrong...... she flys off the side, her foot caught in the stirrup, and is dangling independent from her horse, her love.....she cries out but nobody can hear.....her head bashes the ground of the meadow as the horse keeps his speed. Her head is smacking, banging, crashing to the ground....her dream has, within an instant, become a nightmare. And just before she goes unconscious............ | |
