I went to a festival of vintage comedy films. One of them was ALI BABA GOES TO TOWN, starring Eddie Cantor.

A California hobo finds himself transported back to 14th century Baghdad, where he tries to instill American democracy and values.

Then he goes on a rape-murder spree and commits atrocities in a military prison.
