| Well... metacognition is thinking about thinking... I connect new information to knowledge I already had. I selected strategies that I had previously used successfully, and I made a plan, monitored the plan, and then thought about thinking some more! | |

| I thought first about what I know about the subject, and then what I needed to know. I wrote in my thinking journal. I knew it would take a few days to find enough sources, and then I read one article a day until I felt ready to write. | |

| After I was done I went back and thought about what worked, and what didn't work. Self evaluation! Oh, and now I'm talking about thinking with my friendly metacognition ghost. Meta! | |
