United for change in living conditions, by Marisol97019701 on 02-03-2020
Ciudad Juarez
We renters need to unite, wealthy landowners do not care about us. I need your help, and I need you to get support from other tenants. Together we can form a union and demand change.
yes, nor do city officials care about us. As commerce is growing with the Unites States more and more people are moving to our city. They're are taking up our space.Soon there will be a lot of people and almost no where to live.
Outside Ciudad Juarez in a Colonia
Hey! what do you say if we tenants unite and form a union, my rent is too high, and I can't barely afford to buy food for my kids. My wages do not cover my expenses. Most of the money I earn goes into paying for rent and food.
The house that I rent is in very bad shape, and the landlord still charges us very high rent. He makes money out of us while he shops at El Paso, and he is friends with the mayor of Ciudad Juarez, I don't think we can do much.
Ciudad Juarez government building protest
I'm glad you convinced your neighbors to come and petitioned the local government to change out conditions. With their help we can get the landlords to change their ways.To reduce our rent and improve the house that they rent us.
We need to keep the pressure and get more people involved. We must get all the residents united and show them that we will not stop until our demands are heard. If not, we can take out petition to Mexico City. That's why the revolution was fought and won, for us the common people. The times of the wealthy landowner are over, and now the people can own their own piece of property.
