Carnegie by delapazeidel on 10-28-2017
What do you think about Carnegie?
I think Carnegie was an important factor in promoting technological advancements in America. Such that the production of steel was increasingly efficient with newly discovered methods and development of new machines.
Yea? I always thought he was a merciless business owner who didn't give much attention and care to his workers.
He was a philantrophist. From the amount of money he was making, he donated millions of dollars to charity. On top of that, he help set up over 3000 public libraries in America.
Woah he's not that bad after all.
Not only that he was generous, with his abundant steel productivity, he made construction railroads possible. In times of recession and depression in the economy, his overflowing success with his steel company ensured employment for his workers.
