| So why did you decide to come to us, Dennis? | |
| Well Doc, I've lost 6 friends to suicide in the military. I've helped other friends and been a support system for them but I just can't seem to forget the people that I couldn't help. | |

| Wow. That's sounds really rough. I'm sorry to hear that. It's understandable why this would bother you. How has it affected you? | |
| I can barely sleep and when I do sleep, I don't sleep well. I keep dreaming out the people I couldn't help. I keep exploding on my wife, which she does not deserve. She has been incredible in helping me.And I just can't shake the feeling that I shouldn't try because I don't see the point. | |

| Yep, I can definitely see how that would cause you and your wife some issues. Let me suggest this to start with: focus on the people you have helped out of that dark place. Continuously check in with them. | |
| You know, I never thought of it like that! Yeah it still sucks that I lost those friends, but I guess I can't give up because of the people I have helped. | |
