Interaction Between Professor and Worried Parent of a Child with a Learning Disability by yopadilla94 on 02-14-2017
Parent comes to school for her son who was recently diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Hi there, Little Roman is all ready for you.
Hi Mr. Clayton, How did my son do today?
Professor and parent talk about the student's learning disability and the parent's concerns.
I made you this report card so you know how he did on completing small goals throughout the day.
Wow! Thank you Mr. Clayton. You know, I worry about him when I'm at work. This really helps me track his progress with ADHD.
Parent thanks the professor for taking the extra step and really caring for the child's day, thus writing the report card.
It's no problem at all, Roman is a bright kid and I want him to succeed. I believe it all starts with team effort from professors and parents.
I really wish there were more professors that truly cared about the students like you do. I really appreciate it.
