What can possibly go wrong if we eliminate the rules? by maxcactus on 01-31-2017
Trump has commanded that any new regulatory rules proposed must also eliminate two previous rules.
So if say the FDA needs a new regulation for an emerging food borne disease they need to eliminate something like the ones governing sanitation temperatures of a food process or maybe strike out how much lead can be dumped in a river?
Reminds me of when the Indiana legislature redefined pi to legally be 3 instead of 3.14159.
Apparently they felt that all of these extra numbers were needlessly complicated.
Who needs all of that math?
As Reagan once said," to every complicated issue there is a simple solution." Unfortunately that simple answer is wrong.
