Landslides and snikholes by sins on 06-17-2016
Many people in my community tend to think snikholes and landslides are the same.Well they're not snikhole are made bedrock is worn out from erosion then the overburden sniks into the crack while leaving an air gap left. When a person walks over it, it'll collapse that is a sinkhole.
I see how you explain it, but what about a landslide. How are those formed I'm curious to know please tell me.
A landslide is the movement of rock, debris or earth down a slope. They result from the failure of the materials which make up the hill slope and are driven by the force of gravity.
Oh I now understand.
