| The students ahve some skills but we need to conitue to teach students even as they get into middle and high school. We can activite their background knowledge, motiviate students, model and teach them how to engage with the text | |

| So in elementary grades they learn the basics like decoding, fluency and the teacher scaffolds and builds the students skills but then as a middle school teacher I need to continue building on those skills. I get it now. Thanks for your help! | |
