Flag Inappropriate Comics

Recently Witty Comics has seen an increase in comics that break the rules. We've added a feature above each comic that allows you to flag the comic if it breaks the rules. If you see a comic that contains racism, hate speech, discrimination or anything else that you think is inappropriate, please login and flag the comic. This will bring the comic to the attention of moderators and they will delete the comic if necessary.

Witty Comics Gets Noticed

Hey there. It looks like Witty Comics has gotten some international attention. We're even featured in this German video clip from Spiegel.de.

New Animal Office Characters, Backgrounds

Hey folks! I added ten new characters today. Why are they cute baby animals in office clothes? I have no idea. I also added a number of plain backgrounds in different colors. HEY! Guess what else? Witty Comics recently celebrated its 10,000th comic strip!

Front Page Delay

Hey everybody. In an effort to make better use of CPU cycles on the main server (do I sound like an old man or what...) there is now a delay of up to 15 minutes before your comics show on the front page. If the comics show in your profile, they will eventually show on the front page. Thanks, Steve

Logout Bug Fixed

I finally tracked down and fixed that annoying bug that caused you to logout after saving a comic.

15 New Characters

Fifteen new characters are now available to choose from. Notable additions include a doctor, police officer, soldier and computer monitor.

Witty Comics Now Has Forums

It's been a busy week and have only been able to cross one thing off the list for this site: Witty Comics Forums. Unfortunately I couldn't import the existing comic making accounts, so you'll have to create a new account just for the forums. I know it sucks but it only takes a minute.

New Features Released!

Hey it took a day longer than I planned, but some of the new features have been released. New features include:

• Archive of Comics - view all comics for a particular day
• Delete Comics - Make a mistake on your comic? Delete it from your profile page.
• Comment on Comics - Leave comments about other peoples' comics with the form that appears under each comic.
• Search - Search for comics by their title or words in the narration and bubbles.
• 5 Star Voting - Rank comics on a scale from 1 to 5 by clicking on the stars that appear above the comics.

New Features This Weekend

Hey everybody. It looks like we got picked up by a couple of popular websites this week and I want to take a second to welcome all of our new users. Comics as PNG Images

It took a few days, but I've finally gotten the comics to display as PNG images. Just click on the "PNG" link when viewing a comic to see the image version. This is ideal if you want to post your comics to your blog or website or just save them on your computer. Heck, you can even use this feature to email a comic to a friend as an attachment.
